PERSONAL NOTE
Monsieur Periné is a Colombian pop band that is known for exploring the relationship between their music and other forms of art. For the opening concert of their  album, "Caja de Música", they wanted to turn their traditional show into a complete visual narrative that represented the atmosphere of the album.
In that sense, we worked on the idea of turning the stage into an old cargo shipyard in which dirty and decayed crates hided colorful origami gardens that were able to turn a transitional space into a mythical world. The idea of hiding or showing that world, supported our main concept: The music box is a window that can take you to a magical journey. Therefore, the playlist represents the journey itself. This journey was guided by a couple of technicians that worked in the shipyard and flirted around the stage transforming the set several times. In addition, the show was accompanied with video projections that showed the worlds behind the shipyard and transported the audience into a colorful experience.
